didnt Platini get 7 or 8 years for being corrupt?

Side - why should i be digging him out about his reaction to womens football?

5th - if he is corrupt then prove it and ban him for life.

15 years for being creepy and over familiar is a huge over reaction. all thats going on now is a lots of people jumping on the bandwagon.

Re: Womans World Cup
He’s done his part to drive up his ban by continuing to be a cunt about it….goose not having a dig here but shouldn’t you be digging him out as a bloke for his reaction to a Womens football trophy win? Wasn’t that over the top? I mean he was more elated than the players themselves…..it was dickhead behaviour from him…..almost came across as piss taking to me….

I think my point is that he's a fucking corrupt wrong un and as such I don't care whether his punishment appears OTT.

As for the still photos of her "picking him up", I haven't seen the video of it but it appears to me that he's just jumped momentarily and she's had to react to appear to hold him up. That's clearly what she's implied in her statement. If you look at his weight compared to hers I doubt she's be able to comfortably carry the bloke.

Exactly!.

Fuck them. I don’t care. Maybe the turmoil is a sort of bad karma over decades of failing to deal with monkey chants! They should have resigned for that shit alone.

Come on now, Spanish football is generally about 200 years behind the times anyway.

Good on the woman's team for not having it. Maybe now they could address shit like this and at least get into the twentieth century?

5th that may well all be true, but that’s not what he’s being charged of here.
A 15 year ban from FIFA for that kiss?

If the pictures of her picking him up are accurate should she be charged as well?

The fella should have apologised from the off, maybe even resigned. But this now is completely over the top.

Fortunes

No sorry. There was a Spanish journalist on Twitter (an actual journalist, not random anonymous account) that wrote a long account of his rise to power from their version of the Player's Union to the head of the Spanish FA... holding sex parties for his mates and getting the prostitutes to invoice his employer was one of the most memorable ones.

Re: Womans World Cup
Total woke bollocks as far as I'm concerned. Similar thing happened to Gascoine, but he was found not guilty.

It wasn't a sexual kiss, his lips were closed. The grabbing of the groin stuff is a bit weird though. Maybe he was dying for a piss.

But still, the whole episode is ridiculous and has detracted from the Spanish team's achievement, which is a terrible shame for the players involved.

What the silly fucker did in the stands by grabbing his groin next to his own royalty should be the thing he goes for….me or any of you’s doing it after blagging our way in maybe but a top official of their FA?…. not on……off you go son….you’ve got no decorum….

Re: Womans World Cup
I think there is more to this

Luis Rubiales Sister has come and to say that she hopes “Jenni tells the truth”

And Jenni Hermoso has come out to say that her media agents are now handling her affairs.

It wasn’t right but if you watch back, she hugs him at the same time as the kiss.

All very odd and such a shame that the fantastic World Cup and the Spanish teams achievements have to vibe overshadowed by this. I guess this creates more news for longer

Apologies, I’ll stay on message.

This heinous sex crime, has overshadowed events that have inspired nations

And now for the weather.

It’s been sunny for two days, we’re all going to die.

Re: Womans World Cup
I was so fucking relieved when this wimmins world cup was over. The coverage of it has been disgraceful in it’s dishonesty, with broadcasters, particularly the BBC, acting as cheerleaders and promoters rather than reporters. They’ve all tried their hardest to convince the audience that they’re watching something special, which any lover football knows is a big fat lie.
And now we get the added bonus of a huge pile on because a bloke kissed a woman. The d geezer might have let his dago machismo to get the better of him but it’s hardly a hanging offence.
These wimmin need to get a sense of proportion.

I look upon this incident as an opportunity for some to criticise the BBC.

This gets more mental by the day.

Still, at least it’ll give the BBC something to talk about for the next 4 or 5 days.
